My name is Erlend, and I photograph meaningful moments in London, from concerts, celebrations and other events to weddings, proposals, portraits and press.
Outside photography, I work as a designer, illustrator and marketer in architectural communications. That background sharpens my eye for space, composition and storytelling, and I bring it to every shoot so each moment is captured well as it happens.

What I do

Photography
I am a London-based freelance photographer, capturing the energy and essence of conferences, official events, proposals, weddings, concerts, and birthday or business celebrations.
For the past ten years I have photographed events for a major political party in Norway, from socials and business visits to conferences and press pools. The work demanded rigour and flair, because the images I made had to carry the right message as well as show what happened. That discipline shapes how I will photograph your event.
My images preserve the atmosphere and tell the story of each occasion, whether you want to share it or keep it. I promise a thoughtful, professional approach to documenting your event.

Communications
I work as a communications advisor, illustrator and copywriter, applying creative skills across visual storytelling and brand communications. With experience combining architecture and marketing, I bring a thoughtful, design-minded approach that balances craft and strategy to tell stories that matter.

Design
I studied at the University of Kent and the Architectural Association School of Architecture, which gave me a strong grounding in design, planning and spatial composition. I use these skills regularly, from composing architectural and event photographs to sketching and designing for the world around us.

Equipment
I have invested in high-quality photography equipment with the specific intention of capturing memories and moments beautifully, with backup systems in place to ensure your memories are safe.

Both cameras have dual card slots, ensuring all images are immediately backed up to a separate card during shooting. They are of a quality that allows either to fully photograph any event, ensuring that even in the unlikely event of one camera failing outright, the second camera can complete the full shoot without loss of quality.
During normal shooting, I use both cameras with different lenses to ensure I capture the breadth of the event efficiently while being ready for quick changes and sudden moments.
