I am a London-based freelance photographer with nine years of experience capturing the energy and essence of events, from conferences and business celebrations to concerts, birthdays, memorials, protests, and official events. I specialise in creating high-quality images that preserve the atmosphere and tell the story of each occasion. Whether it's for sharing or cherishing moments, I bring a thoughtful and professional approach to documenting your event.
Alongside photography, I work as a designer, illustrator, and writer, applying creative skills across visual storytelling and brand communications. With experience combining architectural studies and marketing work, I bring a thoughtful, design-minded approach that balances craft and strategy to share stories that matter.

Politics and Volunteering
Campaign Advisor on Digital Production
2022–2023
Norwegian Labour Party
I started in October 2022 and worked part-time while finishing my Masters at the AA. The job was full-time and on-site from July 2023.
An important part of the work included photographing the National Conference in May, when I travelled up from London for its 4-day duration, the 22. July memorial event, campaign activities, and press photography on election night.
I gained highly valuable and varied experience in a fast-paced environment. Other tasks included creating images and videos for social media and administrating the distribution of the party's Out-Of-Home advertisements across the country. I also answered questions that came to our inbox and moderated social media activity.
Campaign Worker and Leader of the Digital Campaign
2021
Akershus Labour Party
From January to September 2021, I worked as a campaign staffer at Akershus Labour Party, the Norwegian Labour Party's county branch in Akershus (in the absence of Part 1 architectural positions following the pandemic and economic fallout).
My main tasks focus on digital communication, social media strategy and digital content production for the county party. Additionally, I am working actively with municipal party branches and individual candidates for Parliament concerning effective outreach using social media.
Campaign Secretary
2019
Akershus Young Labour
I coordinated and helped lead the youth party campaign events in the county, which included organising visits to 22 different Upper Secondary Schools.
I was responsible for the social media campaign and the production of graphical content to share and advertise. I also produced flyers for print for my county branch, AUF i Akershus, AUF nationally, and for over 80 individual local council candidates across the country.
Municipal Council Representative
2015–2017
Enebakk Municipality
I was elected to the Enebakk Municipality council in the 2015 local elections for the 2015–2019 period and became a member of the Committee for Culture, Adolescence, and Education (kultur, oppvekst og skole). I later became the deputy leader of the Committee on Climate and the Environment, which was responsible for all matters relating to the preservation and protection of the environment within the municipality.
Election Campaign Leader
2017
Akershus Young Labour
I was in charge of planning and coordinating AUF i Akershus' county campaign for the 2017 general election, from initiating the planning phase in February through hosting workshops and presentations on campaigning during the spring to organising campaign events from midsummer until the election in early September.
Responsible for Labour- and Educational Policy
2016–2017
Akershus Young Labour
A member of the county board and leader of a committee of five additional members. The main responsibility was to communicate outward, educate the organisation and encourage debate about matters relating to labour and educational policies.
Local Youth Party Leader, and Secretary
2013–2017
Enebakk Young Labour
I helped establish the municipal branch of my youth party, Arbeidernes Ungdomsfylking (AUF), in the autumn of 2013 and subsequently became its secretary. In the summer of 2014, I became the leader of the board, and over the next three years, we made the branch one of the most active in the county before I stepped down in 2017.
Architecture and Design
Communications and Bid Writer
2024–present
AFK Studios, London
I am responsible for, among other things, ensuring that the company's message is consistent across all platforms, from daily online communication to bids and client presentations. The role combines my five years of architecture studies with communications expertise gained from political work.
RIBA Student Mentoring Program
2019–2020
University of Kent
During my third year of architecture BA, I participated in the RIBA mentoring program with Bond Bryan Architects. I visited their office, learning about the architectural profession from a professional standpoint, and went on-site to learn what happens when a large-scale (school) project is built.
Academic Peer Mentor
2018–2020
University of Kent
I have actively been a mentor for three students in my second and third years at Kent (first-year students in my second year and second-year students in my third year). This was a very educational and useful experience for me, as I learned about architectural communication and giving guidance on design problems other than those related to my own projects.
Education
AA Diploma With Commendation - ARB/RIBA Part 2
2021–2023
Architectural Association School of Architecture
I spent my fourth year in the unit "Diploma 20 - The Civic Entrepreneur" and my fifth year in "Diploma 5 - Porous, Public, Unheimlich, Placed". My final project focused heavily on the architecture of political spaces and the symbolism of government architecture. I graduated with Commendation.
Architecture BA with First Class Honours - ARB/RIBA Part 1
2017–2020
Kent School of Architecture and Planning, University of Kent
I graduated with distinction and an overall average of 75 %. I was a member of the Media team in the Kent Architectural Student Association (KASA) through 2019, secretary for the UKC Quidditch team 'The Flying Chaucers' during my second year, and president of the same team in my third year.
One-year program in History
2016–2017
University of Oslo
The course covered both early and modern Norwegian and world history, with a focus on the Roman Empire, industrialisation in Norway, the aftermath of the Second World War, and the development of international humanitarian aid cooperation throughout the twentieth century. Among student activities, I regularly played Quadball throughout the year and participated in national tournaments.
Specialisation in General Studies with Arts, Crafts and Design Studies
2013–2016
Lørenskog Upper Secondary School
The program included modules in visual art, art history, architecture, and design, providing me with an early academic understanding of both creative history and practice.
I was elected as my class's Student Council Representative for the year 2014-2015 and served as a member of the school's international committee, which was responsible for organising a school-wide fundraiser for the organisation Right to Play during my third year, 2015-2016.
