My name is Erlend. I'm originally from Norway, but have lived in London since 2021 and in the UK since 2017.
In addition to doing freelance photography of events ranging from intimate proposals to fast-paced press photography, I am an architectural designer, illustrator, and marketer working in architectural communications.
This combination of skills and disciplines enables me to merge skills centred around understanding spaces, composition, and storytelling, to capture meaningful moments beautifully and as they happen.

Photography
I am a London-based freelance photographer with extensive experience capturing the energy and essence of events, ranging from portraits to conferences, proposals, weddings, concerts, birthday or business celebrations, and official events.
My speciality lies in creating high-quality images that preserve the atmosphere and tell the story of each occasion. Whether it's for sharing or cherishing moments, I bring a thoughtful and professional approach to documenting your event.

Communications
I have experience working as a communications advisor, illustrator and copywriter, applying creative skills across visual storytelling and brand communications. With experience combining architectural studies and marketing work, I bring a thoughtful, design-minded approach that balances craft and strategy to share stories that matter.

Design
I have completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Kent and my Master's at the Architectural Association School of Architecture, which has given me strong insight into design, planning, and spatial composition. These are skills I use regularly in my work, from finding compositions in architectural photography and during events to sketching and designing for the world around us.

Equipment
I have invested in high-quality photography equipment with the specific intention of capturing memories and moments beautifully, with backup systems in place to ensure your memories are safe.

Both cameras have dual card slots, ensuring all images are immediately backed up to a separate card during shooting.
Both cameras are of a quality that allows either to fully photograph any event, ensuring that even in the unlikely event of one camera failing outright, the second camera can complete the full shoot without loss of quality.
During normal shooting, I use both cameras with different lenses to ensure I capture the breadth of the event efficiently while being ready for quick changes and sudden moments.
